Class 01

Automate reports and documents with AI

You rewrite the same report, update or reply from scratch every week.

120 minutes, live25 people maximum$99$199 after September 12

You leave with

A saved set of instructions that writes that document for you, the way you want it.

A page of standing instructions that writes your weekly document for you

What we work on

  • The weekly report you rebuild by hand
  • The reply you retype for every new customer
  • Research you cannot tell is true

The two hours

Minute by minute.

Nobody talks at you for two hours. Here is where every minute goes.

15 min
State it

You name your document in one sentence. Who opens it, what they do next, what happens if it is late. Then we split what never changes from the few facts that do.

20 min
Show it what good looks like

You upload your three real past copies, then ask it to describe how you write in ten lines. It reads your habits back. You correct what it got wrong.

25 min
Write the standing instructions

One page in plain English: the reader, the fixed sections, the facts rule, the words you use and never use, and what it must do when a fact is missing.

20 min
First run on real facts

You paste this week's actual numbers and get a draft. Then you put it beside last week's real document and mark every place it is wrong.

20 min
Break it on purpose

You feed it the case that should fail: the month a client left, the quote with an odd exclusion, the update carrying bad news. Then you fix what broke.

10 min
Make it sound like you

Two checks. Could a competitor send this sentence unchanged? Cut it. And: list every number and where it came from. Anything untraceable comes out.

10 min
Keep it

You name and save it, keep one approved output as the benchmark, and write the short facts form you will paste next week.

This is for you if

  • The agency owner writing a Friday progress update for eight clients. Same six headings, different numbers. It eats Thursday evening.
  • The partner or studio owner quoting the same handful of job types. Every quote retyped from the last one, and the exclusions drift.
  • The director writing a one-page board summary each month. Same sections, new figures, always starting from an empty screen.

It is not for you if

  • You want the computer to act on its own. This produces drafts you approve; it never sends anything. That is a different class.
  • Your document is genuinely different every time. If there is no repeating shape, there is nothing to save.

Bring this with you

  • Three real copies of the document you rebuild — last three weeks or last three months. Do not tidy them up first; the mess is the useful part.
  • This week's actual facts: the numbers, names and dates that would go into the next copy. Rough notes are fine.
  • A rough idea of how long one copy takes you today.

Have these open

  • A free account on Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. Whichever you already use. The free tier is enough for the class.
  • Wherever you normally write — Google Docs, Word, or your email.
  • A second screen helps, if you have one. The class on one, your tool on the other.

Questions

About this class.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. Nothing is installed and no code is written. You type English into a box on a website. If you can write the document by hand today, you can do this.

Which tool do we use? I already pay for one.

Bring the one you already have. Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini all do this and the steps are nearly identical. Uvin calls out the differences as they come up. If you have none, a free account is enough.

My documents have client names and figures in them. Is that safe?

Check your client contracts first — some forbid it outright. The class teaches two safe routes: replace the names and figures before uploading, or use a plan whose terms exclude your data from training. Read the terms yourself before uploading anything real.

Is this a recording?

Live, capped at 25, nothing pre-recorded, and you keep the recording of your own session. You build your own version from your own files while Uvin works through it with you.

Will this still work when the tools change?

The page you leave with is plain English and it belongs to you. If you switch tools, you paste it into the new one. The menus change often; what you wrote down does not.

Not sure it is the right one

Describe your week instead.

Tell me the job you repeat and I will say which class fits, or that none of them do.

One or two sentences is plenty. This is the part I actually read.
